Third Generation

In 2015, Sullivan Bros. mourned the loss of Warren H. Sullivan, Jr. After his passing, son, Wm Maurice Sullivan, third generation licensed funeral director and embalmer and 2004 graduate of Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA, became manager, and has managed the business until present. Maurice is a 2003 graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a B.S. degree in Biology. He is also, a Prince Hall Master Mason-Stewart Lee Lodge # 376 in Lyman, SC). He is married to S. Rochelle Sullivan and they have a son Weston M. Sullivan. As part of Maurice continuing growth, he is now a Certified Crematory Operator.


Sullivan Bros Mortuary is one of a few mortuary's across the United States to have three generations of mortuary graduates and dual licensed funeral director and embalmer.


The Drive Thru Window was designed as an original part of the current location of Sullivan Bros. Mortuary. It was free to any family who requested it, and designed to allow them to have their loved one facing the street. This allowed friends and family a chance to ride by the window and view the deceased without getting out.
