Our Beginnings

Sullivan Bros. Mortuary, Inc. has provided funeral services for families in Greer, SC. We take great pride in our funeral services, our focus is to provide individualized funeral services designed to meet the needs of each family. We are happy to guide you through all aspects of your loved one's funeral or memorial service.

Our history

The Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Funeral Home was started in 1948 by Warren H. Sullivan, a 1947 graduate of Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science in Nashville, TN, wife Julia J. Sullivan and his two brothers. A few years later Warren Sullivan bought his brothers shares and became sole owner. As part of the late Rev. Sullivan legacy, he was known in the community not only for being a mortician; he was a United States Army Veteran, a pastor, a barber and friend to many.

Sullivan Bros. started in the home of his father Rev. R. B. Sullivan, in the Greentown Section of Greer, SC. At the time Sullivan Bros. offered Funeral Service and Ambulance Service to the Community and surrounding areas. In 1950 Sullivan Bros. was moved to 205 Rose St.
