Taylors, SC

Willie James Richardson, widower of Alma Jean F. Richardson (Over 50years spent together in Holy Matrimony), son of the late Jessie O. and Lillie J. Richardson, passed Thursday, November 11, 2021.

He was a faithful and loyal member of Jubilee Baptist Church.  He retired from the City of Greenville as a Brick Mason.  In his spare time he enjoyed planting plants in his garden.

His legacy still lives in those left behind including his step children; Stephen (Venita) Foster of Travelers Rest, SC, Valerie Foster and Lacouillia Foster both of Taylors, SC; sisters, Jessie P. Harris of New Jersey, Lillie B. Richardson of Fountain Inn, SC, Karether Ferguson of Taylors, SC, Fannie B. Scott of New York and Geraldine Bryant of Hawkinsville, GA; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his 10 siblings.

Viewing will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2021 12:00 Noon at Jubilee Baptist Church with service to follow promptly beginning at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Funeral service will be lead by Rev. Reggie Garrett, Pastor of Jubilee Baptist Church.
