Veronica L. Downs, daughter of Vernon and Patricia Goodwin, passed Sunday, August 29, 2021.

She was a member of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Thomas Yeargin.  She was a 1985 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School.  She was employed with Spectrum.  In her spare time she enjoyed scrap booking, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories along with her mother Patricia and father Vernon Goodwin; are her children, Kendrick Downs and Keianna Hardy both of Spartanburg, SC; maternal grandmother Hazel Fowler of Duncan, SC; grandchildren Synphanie Littlejohn and Samiyah Littlejohn both of Spartanburg, SC; son-in-law Tori Littlejohn also of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Audrey Downs of Duncan, SC, Tammy Downs of Spartanburg, SC, Felicia Downs of Roebuck, SC, Beverly Glen, Kela Staggs both of Wellford, SC and Aundrea Goodwin of Nashville, TN; brothers Andre R. Cohen of Reidville, SC, Gerald D. Benson of Kansas, MO and James E. Goodwin of Spartanburg, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 11:00AM at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Mask required and social distance for safety.  If unable to stand for extreme periods of time, please bring your chair for comfort.  On Friday, September 3, 2021 the viewing will take place of Veronica in the viewing window at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.  Thank you for your support during this time.
