Valerie Lynn Gardner, 66, of Lyman, SC passed away on January 11, 2023. She was born on December 31, 1956, in Ventura, CA.

Valerie was the beloved wife of Jon Gardner for 48 years. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Jaime (Brandon) Mullins of Inman, SC, Evan (Sweety) Gardner of Greer, SC, and Nic (Jess) Gardner of Spring Hill, TN. She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, Kennedy Gardner, Cooper Mullins, Cameron Mullins, Maximus Gardner, Griffin Gardner, Samson Gardner, and Leonidas Gardner.

Valerie was the daughter of Bill and Willene Moseley of Greer, SC and the sister of Allyn (Sheree) Moseley of Campobello, SC.

Valerie was deeply loved by all, known for her sassy personality, infectious laugh, beautiful alto singing voice, and gracious hospitality. She was a devoted Christian, and a member of the Taylors Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and home decorating. She was an awesome grandma, lovingly referred to as "Boo."

Valerie was the author and creator of "Simple Fare, Fairly Simple", a curated cookbook and blog of amazing recipes and home decorating ideas. She brought comfort and joy to countless people. Valerie influenced many with her humility, patient love, and sense of humor.

Valerie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held at Taylors Church of Christ located at 3506 Edwards Rd., Taylors, SC 29687 on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 10AM.
