Wellford, South Carolina

Mr. Travis E. Jones, husband of Shadrian Jones, son of Cal and Margaret Jones, passed Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

He was a member of Sacrifice of Praise Worship Center.  Travis graduate from James F. Byrnes High School.  He worked as a floor installer with Flawless Flooring.  Those who knew him, knew his love for San Francisco 49ers!  He was a United States Army Veteran.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Travis include his wife Shadrian "Shay" for over 20years; parents Cal and Margaret Jones, Jr., daughters, Quandrena, Queena Jones and Caydence Jones all of Wellford, SC, sons, Travis E. Jones, Jr. and Christian Oglesby both of Wellford, SC; sister, Samanthan Martin of Wellford, SC; brothers, Timmy Martin and Vicent Jones both of Greer, SC; father in love, Franklin Williams of Spartanburg; uncles Leland Martin and Robert Martin both of Greer, SC; aunts, Agatha Martin of Greer, SC and Mattie Gregory of Wellford, SC; special cousins, Leland "Stein" (Beverly) Martin, Jr., Mandrell (Resa) Martin; brothers and sisters in love, Crystal and Jamal Bryant of Wellford, SC, Andre and Necole Taylor of Wellford, SC and Al and Sinita Irby of Simpsonville, SC; best friend, Keith (Natasha) Murphy; dogs T-Bone and Paris; along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carroll and Verdie L. Jones, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lillie Bell Martin; mother in love, Joann Williams.

A service in memory will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 1:00 PM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.  Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
