Thomascene Duckett Gregory, born on November 20, 1939, in Greer, SC, passed away on February 21, 2024. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and the beloved child of Ruth and Chester Duckett.

Thomascene was known for her big heart, beautiful mind, and generous spirit. She exuded support, empathy, and class in all aspects of her life. Thomascene leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, survived by her children Kenyatta Gregory and Kanika Gregory Richardson, and her cherished grandchildren Darius Newman, Aiden Richardson, and Adaline Gregory.

She was a beloved sibling to Bobby White, Charles Duckett, Eddie Duckett, Robert Duckett, Susan Banks, Elizabeth Robinson, Harold Duckett, Brenda Robinson, Kathy Murray, and Donny Duckett. Thomascene had a special affinity for children and was often relied upon as the family's primary babysitter. She fostered a love for learning in them, inspiring them to read, write, and embrace their youthful curiosity, thus creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.

Thomascene's memory will be forever treasured by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift.

We are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support that our family has received during this difficult time of bereavement. Your kind words, thoughtful gestures, and comforting presence have been a source of great strength and solace for us.

Losing our beloved Thomascene has been an immense loss for our family but knowing that we have such wonderful friends and relatives surrounding us has been a beacon of light in our darkest moments. Your acts of kindness, whether through heartfelt messages, shared memories, or simple acts of presence, have touched our hearts deeply and provided us with the support we needed to navigate through this challenging time.
