Thomas W. Griffin, son of the late Wylie and Virginia Elizabeth R. Griffin, Jr., passed Saturday March 6,2021.

He was a faithful member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, where he was an Usher and member of the Male Choir.  He was a 1971 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School.  After attending high school he furthered his education receiving his degree from Spartanburg Community College.  After college he was employed with Denny's Corporation, Ahold USA and Lyman Mills.  In his spare time he enjoyed the home cooking from Wade's and spending time with his family and friends.

His legacy will be continued by his brothers James M. (Irene) Griffin and Willie L. (Audrey Copeland) Griffin both of Spartanburg, special friends Mrs. Doris Lynch, Special Cousins John and Margaret Smith, Hazel Thornton and Viola Thornton; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends

Celebration of life will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2021 1:00 PM at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Mt. Pilgrim will stream the service via their Facebook page.  Viewing will take place on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2:00PM-7:00PM in the viewing window at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.
