Greer, South Carolina

Mr. Thomas James Pearson, Jr., son of the late Thomas J. and Dorothy C. Pearson, Sr., passed Thursday, July 2, 2026.  

He was a 1978 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School.  After high school, he began working at Victor Mill.  After departing Victor Mill, he begin security work for Greenville Technical College.  Those who knew him, knew his love for the Dallas Cowboys.  He also enjoyed watching wrestling, playing cards, bowling and watching basketball.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Thomas include his children, Terrance Keith Travelle Craig of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Thomas James Pearson, III of Spartanburg, SC, Shamice (Benjamin) Nesbitt of Boiling Springs, SC, Kamesha Gentry of Spartanburg, SC and Alexis Tyeasha Glenn of Lyman, SC; his siblings, Apostle Anthony Pearson of Boiling Springs, SC, Gaily P. (the late Henry) Sullivan of Duncan, SC and Stanley Robert Pearson of Topeka, KS; 12 grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, VonKeisha Harris.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, 11:00 AM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Viewing will take place prior to the funeral starting at 10:00 AM in the chapel.  Please keep the Pearson family in your prayers.
