Mrs. Taminicka Jeannie "Teaker" Booker, wife of Marquis Booker, daughter of Sonya Patterson and Jeffrey Hancock passed Friday, August 14, 2020.

Mr. and Mrs. Booker met at the youthful age of 15 years old.  From then until today, they developed a relationship that only GOD could have sanctioned two people with.  A love built upon a solid foundation that no one or nothing could tear down or destroy.  That bond lead to a loving marriage for over five years and eight months.

She was a member of Bright Side Baptist Church in Lancaster, PA.  She was a 2003 graduate of Warwick High School.  After high school she furthered her education by attending Lancaster Career and Technology Center, where she graduated with a focus on Computer Information Systems and Office Application Specialist Programs.  Her education continued at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, where she focused on Computer Networking.  Determined for more, she attended, and graduated with honors from American Inter Continental University, school of Business Administration.  She also attended and graduated from Ashworth College and Southern New Hampshire University Schools of Business.  She also graduate from the School of Cosmetology located in Lancaster, PA.

During her spare time she enjoyed reading, watching football (Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and the University of Michigan; she loved cheerleading, tap dancing, gymnastics, double dutch, volleyball, karate, reading the dictionary, crime shows, scrapbooking, gaming, shopping, make-up, basketball, being with her loving family.  She placed first in a Pennsylvania Spelling Bee and was published by Who's Who of PA for Poetic Works.

Her last employment was working for Sonya Cleaning LLC.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Booker, along with her husband Marquis Booker, are her mom and dad Sonya Patterson and Jeffrey Hancock; siblings George E. Brown, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, Consaundra A. Patterson and Sharif J. Hancock both of Lititz, PA; step siblings, Ronald Gant, Anita M. Gant, LaRhonda L. Carter and JaBrohn A. Gant all of Lancaster, PA; Taurus Gant of Las Vegas, NV, Jeffrey Hancock and Theresa Hancock both of Pittsburgh, PA; grandmother Ponnie Patterson of Lititz, PA; father and mother-in-law, Minister Tommy and Sherrie Booker from Roebuck, SC; sister and brother in law, Laneisha Booker and Anwar (Crystal) Clark both of Spartanburg, SC; four godchildren, Vincent J. Coleman, Imani N. Patterson, Brianna A. Patterson and Hayden D. Hancock; along with a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Ronald A. Boynes, stepbrother Titus Gant and grandfather George E. Patterson, Sr.

The viewing service of Mrs. Booker will take place Friday, August 21, 2020 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM in the viewing single tree side of Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.  Graveside service will take place Saturday, August 22, 2020 2:00PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC.
