Wellford, South Carolina

Mr. Steven "Steve" M. Morton, son of the late Joseph Morton, Jr. and the late Dorothy D. Morton, passed Friday, October 21, 2022.

Steve was a native of Glen Cove, NY.  Steve was a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School.  He retired from Cryovac, Inc in Duncan, South Carolina.  There he was a dedicated employee of many years.

Steve was preceded in death by his brother Charles Morton.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include his two daughters, Stepheny Jones andCandle Drummond; stepdaughter, Keisha(Kayla)Brown; one son, Christopher "Bam" (Therese) James; grandchildren, Chase Jones, Avery "AJ" James, Landyn James, Aubree James, Keelan Drummond, Tykel Drummond and Ronquey Stokes; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 28, 2022, 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in Lower Shady Grove Baptist church Cemetery.
