Mrs. Ruth Ann Foster, widow of Clinton Foster, daughter of the late Willie and Leila W. Smith, passed Friday, April 19, 2024, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed growing flowers, singing and many arts and crafts.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her sons, Jerry (Cathie) Foster of Taylors, SC and Ricky (Dan) Foster of Star Valley Ranch, Wy; sisters, Minnie Evans and Willie Mae Walker both of Taylors, SC; daughter-in-law Patricia J. Foster of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grand; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Grace Davis, brothers, Laymond Smith, Jeremiah Smith and Sammy Smith.

The funeral service to celebrate the life well lived, will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in St. Mark United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Viewing for Mrs. Foster, will take place on Tuesday morning starting at 9:00 AM until hour of service.
