Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother

July 21, 1931 to December 16, 2020

Ruby Peake (Ross) was the third of three children, brothers William and Ben Harold, born to Carrie Gilliam Ross and Huey Ross on July 21, 1931 in the county of Spartanburg, Greer, SC Rt.1. As a young person, Ruby lost both of her parents and was largely raised by loving family members.

Throughout her adulthood, her hobby and passion were interior decorating, she was able to make each room of her house a conversation piece. Mama Ruby was also Known for her country cooking skills especially her corn meal dressing and potato salad.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Greer, SC until she moved to Virginia where she lived her last days with her daughter Alise Pulliam (Lisa).

Mama Ruby was preceded in death by parents Huey and Carrie Ross, Brother William, son Stanley Ross and husband Marvin Peake.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Ben Harold Ross, Her remaining children: Janice, Lemuel, Maurice, Julius, Lisa; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
