Wellford, South Carolina

Rose Mae Wilkins, widow of Floyd H. Wilkins, daughter of the late T. J. and Birdie Mae Garrett passed Friday, December 5,2025.

She was a member of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, sowing and spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Rose includes her children; Thomas Wilkins of Spartanburg, SC, Ethel (Elbert) Talley, Wayne Wilkins, Minister Lloyd (Kimberly) Wilkins, Theresa Foster and Rev. Wymond Wilkins all of Wellford, SC and Rev. Raymond (Robin) Wilkins of Duncan, SC; 31 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Robert Garrett; sister Elizabeth Wright; brother Raymond Garrett; granddaughters Quanisha Wilkins and Tammy Twitty.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, 1:00 PM at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 6:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
