Mrs. Rosa Dawkins, for 38 years she was the wife of the late Joe Dawkins and daughter of the late Brawley Davis and Carrie Kate. On Friday, August 9, 2019, she passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Evangelical House of God Bible Teaching Center. Retired employee from Steele Heddle with over 30 years of experience.  During her spare time she enjoyed cooking and counseling.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children; Apostle J. L. (Delphine) Dawkins of Taylors, SC, Minister Larry (Mable) Dawkins of Simpsonville, SC, Rose Ann (Earl) Dodd of Taylors, SC, Bishop Josephine D. Flemings of Taylors, SC, Diane D. (Jimmy) Wright of Piedmont, SC, Pastor James Lee (Sarah) Dawkins of Greer, SC, Apostle Anthony (Melissa) Dawkins of Laurens, SC and Trion Dawkins of Taylors, SC; 28 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Dawkins and a son James Dawkins; four sisters and five brothers.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 1:00PM at Enoree Fork Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
