Mr. Roosevelt Johnson, II, husband of Normanda Johnson, son of the late Roosevelt and Clara W. Johnson, Sr., passed Monday, November 29, 2021.

He was a United States Navy Veteran.  He graduated from South Carolina State College with a degree in Business Administration.  In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Dodgers play baseball, the Celtics play basketball and his Colts on the football field.  Also, for those who knew him knew his love for bowling.   He was the world's biggest Women's Basketball fan.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Roosevelt along with his wife Normanda of over 57 years, are his daughters, Deidra L. Johnson of Woodbridge, VA and Andrea M. Johnson of Alexanderia, VA; siblings,  Rachel J. Miller of Wellford, SC, Ruth J. (Abraham) Gold of Columbia, SC,  Clarence (Annie) Johnson of Mayo, SC, Rufus L. Johnson of Greer, SC, Queenester (Dr. Henry) Bowens of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Betty Johnson of Spartanburg, SC, Wanda M. Johnson of Lyman, SC and Janice Johnson of Duncan, SC along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral service, with military honors, will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will be Friday, December 10, 2021 3:00PM until 6:00PM in the viewing window at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.  Please keep the family in your prayers.
