Roger L. King, son of Willie Roger King and Stephanie Joyce W. Bolden, passed Friday, July 16, 2021.

He loved sports and his favorite teams included UGA Bulldogs, L. A. Lakers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He loved his family including his children, nieces and nephews.  He had a bright personality, one that could light up any room.  He loved music and to make everyone laugh.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Roger along with his mother and father, are his children, Jorden King, of Fountain Inn, Isaiah King, Kaliah King and Aaliyah King all of Greenville, SC; grandmother Betty Williams of Simpsonville, SC; grandfather, Johnny Williams of Spartanburg, SC; siblings, Shanteka (Michael) Morton, Keyata (Kayla) King and Courtney (Kelly) King all of Greenville, SC and Kaleb King of Travelers Rest, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Betty Bruce and Woodrow Bruce.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 23, 2021 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Viewing will take place on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM.  For attendance in the service or viewing, a mask is required to be worn covering mouth and nose.  Mask will not be provided by the mortuary.
