Robert Williams Jr, aka "Fish" was born March 3, 1949 to the late Adell Gregory & Robert
Williams in Spartanburg, South Carolina. On Thursday September 5th, 2019, Robert answered
the master's call.
Robert was a member of the Maple Creek Baptist Church. He was a faithful employee at Benore
Logistic where he continued to work after his retirement brightening the place with his smile.
He loved fishing, telling jokes, and riding around in "Sunnyside" waving and smiling, he loved
his favorite team, the Washington Redskins but most of all he loved his family and friends.
Robert leaves to cherish his legacy and memories; one son, Courtney Richards, four
daughters; Robin Miller, Shannon Richards, Brenda (Michael) Miller, and Shari (Timothy)
Moore. Eight grandchildren; Tray (Ashley) Miller, Page Rice, Tenisha Rice, Tiara Shell, Ryshun
Shell, Calandria Miller, Kyliyah Brigman, and Lauryn Powers. Eight-teen great-grandchildren.
Two sisters; Mary Wallace, Brenda (Marvin) Montgomery and one brother Lawrence (Ruby)
Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by two sisters Annie
Pearl Nimmons and JoAnne Glover, and one brother Samuel Gregory.
