Greer, South Carolina

Mr. Robert Anthony "Paint" Richards, son of the late Jim Erby, Jr. and the late Mamie Hallieque Murray, passed Thursday, March 9, 2023.

He was known for being a jokester.  In his spare time, you could catch him outside sitting in his favorite chair or enjoying good times with his family and friends.  He loved sports, some of his favorite teams were L. A. Dodgers, Green Bay Packers and the University of South Carolina Women's Basketball team.

His legacy will forever live on with those he left behind; including his daughters, Temeka Mercha (Rashad) Moss of Greenville, SC, Tonie Carol Scott of Greer, SC and Latasha Turner of Wellford, SC; siblings, Barbara (Michael) Holley and Franky L. (Olivia) Erby all of Greer, SC and Victor M. (Beverly) Erby of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 3:00 PM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.  Public viewing will be Monday, March 13, 2023, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
