Greer, South Carolina

Ms. Queen Ella Mills, daughter of the late James and Lula Mae Mills, passed Thursday, December 21, 2023.

She as a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, in Greer, SC.  She was a 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School.  After high school, she began to work for Leigh Fibers Industries.  Those who knew Queen, knew her love for her family, church, cooking, dancing and watching her five-time Superbowl champion Dallas Cowboys play!

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her daughters, Jodi Mills and Phyllis Mills both of Greer, SC; siblings, Shirley Jones and Tim Mills both of Greer, SC, Mary (Frankie) Sterling of Wellford, SC and William (Tina) Mills of Taylors, SC; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ann Mills, siblings, Dorothy Hardy, James Allen Mills, Jr. and Larry Mills.

Friday, December 29, 2023, PM, at the hour of 1:00 PM at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Greer, the Celebration of a life well lived will take place for Queen, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  A public viewing will take place on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 6:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
