Lyman, SC

Ms. Purlamber J. Foster, daughter of Cleve and Joyce Foster, passed Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

She attended Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.  There she was baptized at the early age of 7.  She graduated from James F. Byrnes High School.  After high school, she went on to attend Spartanburg Methodist College and graduated from North Carolina A&T with full "Aggie Pride"!  After graduating from college, she became a manager within the Darden Co.

Her legacy will forever be cherished by those who knew her including, her parents Cleve and Joyce Foster; her son Jori B. Fultz of Lyman, SC; her grandmother, Agnes Foster of Duncan, SC; her sister, Valida Foster Walker of Duncan, SC; her niece Valiyah Young of Duncan, SC; her great uncle James "Tom Moore" White of Lyman, SC and great aunt, Dorothy (Gage) Miles of Greenville, SC; her god mothers, Sharon Jones and Deborah Wright; her best friends, Sierra Fox of Atlanta, GA, Tiffany Goforth of Boiling Springs, SC, Lacey Tate of Gaffney, SC and Eboni Samuel of Hill AFB, UT; her dog kids Binx and Ginger Fox; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elizabeth Gage Patterson and Artis Moore; her paternal grandfather, James A. "Bubba" Foster, Sr.; maternal aunts, Mattie D. Dawson, Jaqueline McMillian Cook, Scherry A. Martin and Lucretia "Pat" Ryan.

Funeral service will be Friday, January 28, 2022, 12:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Window viewing will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 3:00PM until 6:00PM.  Please keep the Foster family in your prayers.  Seating is limited outside the family!  Mask ARE required and will not be provided by the mortuary!
