Greer, South Carolina

Ms. Phyllis Darlene Mills, daughter of the late Queen Ella Mills and the late Wesley Thomas Jr., passed Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

She was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Greer, SC.  As a member, she was active with the Children's Ministry and Vacation Bible School.  In 1981, she graduated from Greer High School.  After high school, she attended Greenville Technical College.  She was formerly employed with Greenville County School System, and she also worked at The Country Day Care In, in Greer.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her son, J'Kobe K. Mills of Greer, SC; grandson, Wyatt Kelley; sister Jodi Mills, brother, Timothy Thompson; aunts Shirley Jones and Mary (Frankie) Sterling; uncle, Tim Mills and William (Tina) Mills; niece, Maia A. Mills and nephews Jeffery Mills and Josh Nesbitt; along with a host of other family and friends.  Service arrangements are incomplete at this time.  Please keep the Mills family in your prayers.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Ann Mills.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will take place at the church on Wednesday, starting at 11:00 AM until hour of service.
