Greer, SC

Phyllis  Jean Gilliam, aka Tiny,  entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2021. She was born on August 11, 1954  in Greer, South Carolina to  the late Mr. Thad Sam Gilliam and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Davis Gilliam.

Tiny was a member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Greer High School and her previous employment was with JP Stevens Co., Inc. Her past time hobbies were writing short stories, playing spades and bingo.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters, Philandra Jean Gilliam of Simpsonville, SC and Trina Denise Gilliam of Greer, SC; a sister, Joyce A. Goldsmith of Taylors, SC;  six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a special friend of the family, Robert Booker; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Marcia Gilliam; her five sisters, Loretta Gilliam, Floree Gilliam Grayson, Shirley Ann Mills, Mary Louise Gilliam and Dorothy Lee Smith; and a brother Billy Gilliam.
