Ola May Dantzler Burgan, daughter of the late William "Willie" and Ola "Mammie" Dantzler, passed on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

She was a member of New Trinity Baptist Church. After graduating high school she continued her education at Hunter College in New York City where she received her Associates Degree in Education. For over 19 years she was a New York City Grade School Teacher. She retired and returned to Wellford to care for her Father William Dantzler.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Burgan are her sons, Jerry L. (Mary Polinski) Burgan of Pembroke, NH, Larry T. (Diane Temple) Burgan of Bronx, NY and Michael D (Thelma Toni) Burgan of Charlotte, NC; sister, Vanessa Walker of Wellford, SC; grandchildren Terrence Burgan, Kadesha Burgan Jackson of Hamden, CT, Shavonne Burgan of Charlotte, NC, Nicole Burgan of New York, NY, Michael Burgan Jr., of Charlotte, NC; Yakeema (Euan) Manuel of Baton Rouge, Shawn L. (Cassandra) Davis, of Newark, NJ; great grandchildren, Jerrel Jackson of Hamden, CT and Keanne Jackson of Hamden, CT; Da'Quan Craven, ShaKeema Manuel, Euan Manuel Jr, Ja'Uan Manuel of Baton Rouge, LA ; Shawn Davis, Jr., Chase Davis, Skyla Davis of Newark, NJ ; sister in law, Flora Green of Wellford, SC; cousin, Norma Jean Dantzler Hailey of Lyman, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial in New Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.
