Duncan, SC
Rev. Myron Kenneth Rector, son of Dr. Leon C. Rector and the late Lois Gaffney Rector passed on Saturday, October 28, 2017. He was a member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church. A 1978 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School. After high school he attended Newberry College and Martin Webb. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his father Dr. Leon C. (Dora) Rector of Duncan, SC; daughters Shannon Council of Atlanta, GA, Sharie Rector and Charlinda Rector both of Charlotte, NC and Jamelia Bracket of Cowpens, SC; siblings Rev. Lonnie (Virginia) Rector of Newark, DE, Kathy R. Jones of Atlanta, GA, Rev. Allen Rector of Spartanburg, SC and Rev. Dennis (Jackie) Rector of Simpsonville, SC; special friend Betty Sullivan of Duncan, SC; seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 2:00PM at Harrison Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
