Ms. Mildred Ann Robinson, daughter of the late Carey and Margaret Robinson was born on April 8, 1943 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
She was a member of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She earned her BA degree from Benedict College, later continuing her education at Eastern Michigan University where she received her Master's Degree. She was a Teacher and Social Worker for Flint (Michigan) Community Schools. During her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing spider solitaire and watching sporting events.
On Monday, February 6, 2017 she transitioned from her earthly life to her Heavenly Mansion. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her son Terrance (Shelica) Robinson of Brandon, Mississippi; siblings Brenda Spencer of Lyman, SC, Gloria Locke of Spartanburg, SC, Milus (Patricia) Robinson of Greer, SC, Daniel (Darlene) Robinson and Rev. Carnell (Etta) Collins both of Spartanburg, SC; one grandson Ethan; sister in law Jessie Robinson of Elgin, SC, brother in law John Carr of Frisco, TX, uncle and aunt J. W. and Flora Robinson of Spartanburg, SC, uncle Joseph Robinson of Duncan, SC, aunt Frances Robinson of Wellford, SC along with a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Carey and Margaret Robinson, Brother Boycie Robinson, sister Kathy Carr along with some uncles and aunts.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 1:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc Chapel with family and friends visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
