Mrs. Mattie B. Hudson, widow of Samuel P. Hudson, daughter of the late A. B and Nora J. Benson, passed Thursday, May 11, 2023.

She was a faithful Stewart with the Salvation Army, 108 Evangaline Booth.  She enjoyed helping people and being with her family.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her children; Timothy O'Neal, Adreana (Johnny) Jones, Adrana O'Neal and Amanda Maddox all of Greenville, SC and Franshire O'Neal-Thomas of Akron, OH; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law James Maddox.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 18, 2023, 11:00 AM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. with burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be Wednesday, May 17,  2023 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the morutary. Please keep the Hudson family in your prayers.
