Richmond, VA
Mrs. Mary Linda Dawkins, wife of Larry Dawkins for more than 39 years, daughter of Louis Young and the late Elwillie Ellis Young passed December 28, 2017 at her home peacefully surrounded by her family.
She was a 1970 graduate of Carver High School after high school she attended Barber-Scotia College.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Dawkins along with her husband and father are her daughter Tamieka Dawkins; son Derek (Christina) Dawkins; grandchildren Nykia, Chloe, Joshua, Tamia and Amina; brothers Robert Young and Andre Young; sisters Brenda Holcombe and Jacqueline Morrison; along with host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Mary was loved and will be remembered by her kind, sweet and gentle spirit.
Funeral service Monday, January 1, 2018 11:00 AM Believers' Fellowship Assembly Church 150 Marion Ave Spartanburg, SC with burial in Westwood Memorial Gardens.
