Ms. Mary Louise RiceMs. Mary Louise Rice was born to the late Mr. Willie June Ballenger and the late Mrs. Helen Rice Ballenger on Wednesday, Januuary 14, 1970 in Spartanburg, SC. On Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Inman Mary closed her earthly eyes and open them in Christ.
She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and employed with McDonald's Restaurant as a Crew Trainer. She was a loving Mother and friend. Her favorite color was Pink. Most of all she loved Praising God.
Having departed this life, she leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Kalesha Lashun Rice of Indiana and Latasha Rice of Greenville, SC; two sons, Tony Smith of McCormick, SC and David Parks, Jr. of Indiana; a grandson, Quantavis Foster; a sister, Margaret Rice of North Carolina; a uncle, Jerry Thorton; six aunts, Margaret Smith, Viola Thorton, Cora Miller, Dolly Thorton, Ruth Thorton, and Jean Rice; a former husband, David Parks, Sr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Harold and Janie A. Thorton; stepfather, Jessie Ballenger; cousin, Christopher Thorton.
