Greer, SC

Mrs. Mary J. "Baby Jones" McCoy, widow of Clinton McCoy, daughter of the late Abraham and Cora M. Jones, passed Friday, May 22, 2020.

She was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.  She attended Florence Chapel High School.  In her spare time she enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Baby Jones are her children; Maxine Peoples of Greer, SC, Clinton M. McCoy of Greer, SC, Pamela (Timothy) Williams of Greenville, SC, Antone McCoy and Darrell McCoy all of Greenville, SC and Terry (Cathy) Jones of Boiling Springs, SC; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grands and her dog snow; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons Larry B. Jones and Clarence Jones; grandson Dennis B. Peoples, Jr and daughter-in-law Jo-Ann Jones.

Family service will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020 2:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial in Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McCoy will be available for viewing in the viewing window Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 3:30pm until 7:00pm at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
