Mrs. Mary Lou Foster, 88, was summoned by God's Heavenly Angels on Thursday, October 25, 2018 after a long illness. She was born to the late Harriett Johnson and Frances Glenn. Mrs. Mary worked at Greer High School in the Food Service Department until her health declined.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a former member of the Mass Choir. Mrs. Mary loved flowers and gardening.

Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories: her loving husband of 62 years, Mr. William J. Foster, Sr.; a daughter, Barbara (Randy) Turner of Wellford, SC; a son, William Foster, Jr. of Wellford, SC; three sisters, Helen William of Greenville, SC, Rachel (Donald) Bestill of Enoree, SC and Joan McCrary of Rhode Island; two brothers, James F. (Laura) Glenn of Taylors, SC and Edward J. (Joyce) Glenn of Piedmont, SC; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation service will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 3:00PM until 4:30PM at New Hope Baptist Church in Greer, SC.  Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 10:00AM at M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veteran Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
