Miss Margie Edna Jones was born to the late Mr. John Jones and the late Mrs. Viola Lee Jones on November 21, 1946 in  Spartanburg, SC.  She departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020.

A member of Victory Temple Church in Greenville, SC. She attended Lincoln High School in Taylors, SC. Her past time favorites were reading and studying her Bible, watching daytime soap operas and looking at Westerns on television.

Having departed this life, she leaves to cherish her precious memories, a daughter, Lemetra Lea Jones of Greenville, SC; a son, Kevin Jamal Jones of Greenville, SC;  a sister, Doris Pender of Greenville, SC; brother, James Jones of Greenville, SC,  five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a god daughter, Rita Brown of Greenville, SC; a god sister, Minnie McKinney of Greenville, SC; her best friend, Barbara Henderson of Greenville, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Betty Cheeks, Mary Conner and Myrtle Smith; four brothers, Jeremiah Smith, Murray Jones, Haskel Jones and Curtis Jones.

Funeral service Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00pm at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial at Wood Memorial Park in Duncan, SC.
