Madison "Bo" "Lil Rock" James, husband of Juanita Ann Ballenger James, son of the late Warren Jasper and Lottie C. McClintock passed Friday, September 23, 2016.

Member of New Trinity Baptist Church. Graduate of Florence Chapel High School class of 1960. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mr. James was President of the Gospel Messengers and the Kennedy Scholarship Foundation. He served on Wellford City Council for 16 years. During his spare time he loved to sing, working with his hands and trains.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his wife of 51 years Juanita Ann Ballenger James; children Tonie (Joseph) Feaster, Mark James both of Wellford, Phyllis (Fred) Hill of Lyman, Warren (Patrice) James of Duncan and Antwone Daniel of Greer; sisters Carrie Evans and Fannie James both of Lyman, Barbara McClintock of Wellford, Gearline "Gaye" (Larry) Hawkins of Inman and Ruth (George) Davis of Duncan; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley James.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 2:00 PM at New Trinity Baptist Church Rev. Wendell Thompson Sr., Pastor., with burial in the church cemetery.
