Mable Jean Robinson Thompson was born on December 7, 1954 in the county of Spartanburg, South Carolina but was raised by her mother Malissie Robinson and father Irving Robinson.

Mable graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School afterwards she immediately attended The City College of New York, as she majored in Nursing and Liberal Arts. She obtained her Associate Degree in Geriatric Nursing then transferred to John Jay College of Criminology in New York City, where she pursued a career in sociology.

Mable was an individual who strived for knowledge and perfection. She completed her studies in sociology while serving in the United States Marine Corps, as a Personnel Administrator and Marine Corp Security Guard.

She obtained such honors, as The Molly Marine, Honor graduate with meticulous mast letters of appreciation, Good Conduct Medals, Marksmanship badges and numerous physical fitness awards.

Mable became active in various organizations, while in the Marine Corps. She served in offices as Chairwoman, President and Vice President during 1978-1980. She left the service with a Bachelors of Science in sociology that was obtained in1976, as she continued to look for her rightful place in the world.

Mable entered into the business world of marketing and food service. She worked for nine years for Marriott Incorporated as Director of Food Service Operations for the Smithsonian region of the U.S.

While living in South Carolina Mable became a Physical Therapist's Assistant and Nursing Assistant, for the past several years as she was also employed as a schooling staff member of a nursing clinic.

Upon knowing the news of her grandmother Mary Robinson's health, she then moved to South Carolina in 1989 to aid her mother with the final years of her, grandmother where she's been living ever since.

Mable leaves to mourn her life her two loving sisters; Minister Barbara Spicer of Boiling Springs S.C., Minister Marion Duckett of Lyman S.C., (Brother – in – Law) Sonny Duckett also, her Eldest and # 1 Niece Elder Cheryl Johnson of Brooklyn N.Y. Niece Sandra Spicer of Inman, S.C. Yvette Robinson of Spartanburg, S.C., Lakeya Spicer – Lynch of Boiling Springs, S.C. (Lothario Lynch) Jordan Robinson of Asbury Park N.J, also Korin, Camille and Lakeisha Robinson all of Brooklyn N.Y. and Seirea Duckett of Lyman S.C. Nephews Dexter Murray (Prince) of Brooklyn, N.Y. Jimmy Baker of Atlanta Georgia, (Angela Baker), Abdel Nassar of Atlanta Georgia, Frankie Nassar of Greer S.C., Jerry Robinson Jr. of Asbury Park N.J., Aden Duckett of Lyman S.C, and a host of Great Nieces and Nephews Great, Great Nieces and nephews, along with a host of church family friends and wonderful neighbors. A very Special Thank you to Miss Judy for untiring love and care of Mable.

Funeral service will be held at Kingdom New Life Deliverance Church on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1:00pm with private burial. No Public viewing.
