Mrs. Lillie Smith, daughter of the late William Noah and Callie L. Hailstock Salter, passed Tuesday, January 13, 2026, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of Rock Hill #1.  She attended Spartanburg County School.  She retired from Greer Shirt Factory. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Lillie Ree Smith includes her children, daughter, Juanita (Ron) Mills of Greenville, SC; her sons, James (Jeannie) Smith and Darrell Smith and Stepson Wayne Smith all of Greer, SC; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and seven great-great grands; along with a host of other family and friends.

There to meet her at Heaven's gate along with her mother and father, include her daughter, Deborah Arlene Smith; son, Danny Smith; brother Randolph Salter and her two sisters, Lucille Salter and Doris Ann Salter.

A remembrance service will be held at a later date.
