Mr. Lewis Loyd, Jr., husband of Phinnie "Chris" Floyd, son of the late Lewis and Phyllis Floyd, Sr., passed Saturday, November 30,2024.

He was a member of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church.  He graduated from Florence Chapel High School, class of 1965.  He was formerly employed at Michelin Tire Company.  He was a member and Past Master of Prince Hall Silver Lake Lodge # 388.  Along with enjoying his family, he loved cars and spending time with his Brothers in the lodge.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Bro. Floyd, including his wife Phinnie for over 27 years, are his children; Keivon Floyd of Athens, TN, daughters, Kimberly (Dervon) F. White of Statesville, NC and Lenore Floyd of Philadelphia, PA; his siblings, Betty Humphrey and Lee Anna Floyd both of Harrisburg, PA, James Briggs of OH, Ozella Drummond and Broadus (Christie) Floyd both of Wellford, SC; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; along with a host of other family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Virgie Lee Bush, Rosevelt Floyd, Mary Ruth Dillard, Harold Mack Floyd, Carolyn Humphrey, Gwendolyn Tanner and Stanley Floyd.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December6, 2024, 12:00 Noon, at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.  Following public viewing, starting at 6:00 PM, Masonic Rites service will be held at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Please keep the Floyd family in your prayers.
