Wellford, SC

Mr. Lee Irwin Nesbitt, Sr., son of the late Marvin Finks and the late Juanita Gore Nesbitt passed Saturday, May 9, 2020.

He was a member of New Trinity Baptist Church.  Graduate of James F. Byrnes High School.  After high school he entered into the United States Army.  He was known for his love of the Pittsburgh Steelers, NASCAR racing, fishing and watching the USC Gamecocks play.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mr. Nesbitt are his daughter, Sha'Tasha (Cornell) Ward, Jr., of Louisville, KY; his son Lee (Tanika) Nesbitt of Louisville, KY; grandsons Luke Ward, Logan Ward and Cornell Ward, III all of Louisville, KY; brother Kenneth Nesbitt of Wellford, SC; aunt Annie Mae Barton of Wellford, SC; cousins Patricia Nesbitt and Justin Roberts both of Atlanta, GA and Warren Nesbitt of Wellford, SC; nephews Shannon Williams and Shamar Williams both of Spartanburg, SC along with a host of other family and friends.

Family service will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 1:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc., with viewing to take place Friday, May 15, 2020 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary viewing window.  Burial will take place at M J Dolly Cooper Veteran Cemetery on a later date.
