Lee Ruth Higgins, wife of Bobby Higgins, was born in Spartanburg County to the late Grover (Beatrice) Todd and the late Nellie Nesbitt, departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2019 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church and was an inspiration to those who knew her.  Graduate of New Bethel High School.

Precious memories will linger in the hearts of her husband Bobby Higgins, to whom she was united in holy matrimony for over 58 years; her daughter Jackie Higgins (Randy) Robinson of Woodruff, SC; special niece Romella Drummond (Walter) Hunt of Greenville, SC; brother-in-law, Donald Higgins of Inman, SC; sister-in-law, Margaret Higgins of Greer, SC and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur Drummond.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019 2:30 PM at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church burial in the church cemetery.  Family will be at the home of Mr. Bobby Higgins.
