Mrs. Josephine Williams, wife of Robert "Pop" Williams, daughter of the late Thomas and Mallie Helen Griffin, passed Tuesday, October 22, 2019 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Maple Creek Missionary Baptist church; where she was an Usher; Missionary and Deaconess.  In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, she loved it so much she went out and got a job at Kohls.  She also loved flowers.

Along with her husband Robert Williams of over 60 years; left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children, Stanley Williams, Keith Williams, Kevin Williams and Diane Williams all of the home; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons Robert Ellis Williams and Lee Edward Williams; her siblings Thomas Griffin and Martha Ellen Drummond.

Funeral service will be Friday, October 25, 2019 11:00am at Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
