Mr. Joseph Anthony Johnson, Jr., 64, of Taylors, husband of Sheridan Skinner Johnson passed Wednesday, July 6, 2016 peacefully at his home.
He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. he was the son of the late Jessie Allen and Joseph A. Johnson, Sr.
Joseph served in the United States Air Force and worked as a supervisor at Woven Electronics until he retired.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his wife of over 33 years Sheridan Skinner Johnson of the home; daughter Vonda (Thomas Jr) Bates; two grandsons Maxton Everson Bates and Malcom Xavier Bates; sister Cody Young; nephew Brian Johnson, Sr.; two nieces Brittany and Brandy Pate; great nephew Brian Johnson, Jr. He was preceded in death by his sister Hutton Pate.
Memorial service to celebrate his life will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 11:00 AM Jubilee Baptist Church.
