Mrs. Joella G. White, widow of Ernest White, daughter of the late Jesse G. Gray and Ella Hortense Yeargin, passed Saturday, December 25, 2021.

She was a member of Mountain Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of Sterling High School.  Those who knew her, knew she loved her word search games, gardening and she loved to travel.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Joella are her children, Cheryl Ann W. (Dennis) Ford of Atlanta, GA, Ernest (Demetria) White, Jr., of Virginia Beach, VA, Melode' (Landrum) Brooks of Travelers Rest, SC and Jesse (Maxine) White of Taylors, SC; a sister Corine (Walter) Twyman of Pittsburgh, PA; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Yvonne W. Knox and Ernestine W. Wilson.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 1:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.  Viewing will take place on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM in the viewing window at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.

For attending the service, a mask is required to be worn for safety (Covering mouth and nose no exceptions).  If you are feeling sick, been around or think you may have been exposed to someone who may be under the weather; please watch from the comfort of your home.
