Mrs. Jervene J. Parker, widow of Alester H. Parker, Hr., daughter of the late Jayconus and Lillie R. Jackson, passed Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her son, Alester Parker, Jr., siblings, Patrice J. Scott, Louise Jackson, Rose Ann J. Williams, Mary E. Jackson, Floyd Jackson and Shirley Ann J. Nesbitt; along with a host of other family and friends, caregiver Mildred Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jayconus Jackson, Jr., Raymond Jackson, Virgil Jackson, Ruby J. Parks and Gladys J. Wright and her nieces Linda L. Ballenger and Sherry A. Freeman.

Funeral service will be Thursday, November 9, 2023, 1:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with public viewing to take place beginning at 12:00 Noon prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Needmore Cemetery.
