Jeremy Monroe Cruell of 111 Kathryn Street, Marietta, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his residence. Jeremy was born in Greenville County, son of Samuel Marion Monroe Cruell and the late Belinda Ann Johnson Cruell.

Jeremy was a 2002 graduate of Travelers Rest High School. He was a dedicated fireman of Slater-Marietta Fire Department where he served as a lieutenant and an engineer with the Lake Cunningham Fire Department.

Jeremy was preceded by grandparents; Reverend Spann Cruell, Jr. and Joann Jones Cruell and Jessie Alvin and Marie V. Thornton Johnson; one uncle, Randall Cruell.

Surviving in addition to his father; one uncle Ricky Cruell of Marietta, SC; one aunt Gloria Jones of Greenville, SC; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be Monday, July 29, 2024, 12:00 Noon, Marietta First Baptist Church located at 2936 Geer Highway, Marietta, SC. The body will lie in state from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Public viewing will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
