Mrs. Jannie D. Watson, widow of Samuel Watson, daughter of the late Maude Victoria Smith passed Wednesday, September 11, 2019 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Old Pilgrim Baptist Church.  A graduate of Fountain Inn Negro High School class of 1944.  Retired employee from S and S Blouse Manufacturer.  During her spare time she enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and reading.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Watson are her daughter Judy Watson of Wellford, SC; sisters Thomasenia Smith and Lillie Williams both of Simpsonville, SC and Laura Green of Oxon Hill, Maryland; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother John T. Smith.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 14, 2019 3:00 PM at Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
