Mrs. Janie Miller Wilkins was born in Spartanburg County on Saturday, September 20, 1924 to the late Claude and Lilar Edwards Miller and the widow of Walter Wilkins. A member of New Trinity Baptist Church in Lyman, SC. She was a well known Seamstress for many years. Mrs. Janie leaves to cherish her loving memories, three daughters, Joann (Frank) Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Mattie (Johnny) Gregory and Earlene Mitchell both of Welford, SC; a sister, Eather Bell of Roebuck, SC; grandchildren, Tony (Ellen) Gregory, Marshall (Machelle) Gregory, Trena Gregory Anderson, Napoleon (Amanda) Gregory, Billy Moore, Shadrian (Travis) Jones and Crystal (Jamaal) Bryant; 26 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Wilkins; three sisters, Alice Anderson, Myrtle Rice and Amertine Miller; three brothers, Theron Miller, Richard Miller and Claude Miller, Jr.
