James Devlon Kelch, 36, departed this life on January 28, 2022.  He was the son of James (Audrey) Kelch and the late Diane Sexton Kelch.

He attended Blue Ridge High School, where he was an all-star athlete in football and basketball. He attended Jubilee Baptist Church.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was very respected and loved by all who met him.  He was a L A Laker fan.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish memories four sisters; Dionne (Brian) Blassingame Miller of Forrest City, NC; Brittany (Medina) Kelch-Taylor and Octavia Allen, both of Greenville, SC; Brandy(John) Howard of Simpsonville;, two brothers: Jermaine Greer and Marcus Allen, both of Greenville, Grandfather Franklin Greer of Taylors, and a host of aunts, uncle's nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members to mourn his passing. He also leaves two childhood friends: Jarvis Griffin and Josh Higgins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Essie L. Kelch and James C. Kelch, and maternal grandparents, Nellie Mae Sexton and David OB Sexton.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 1:00 PM at Jubilee Baptist Church. Window viewing will take place on Friday, February 4,2022 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm
