Mr. James Ballenger, widower of Louise Ballenger, son of the late Bubb and Alphea Ballenger, passed Friday, March 23,2018 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his nieces and nephews Nathaniel Ballenger Jr., Horace Ballenger Jr., Nelly Maybin, Darlene Pearson, Doris Pearson, James Benson, Linda Pearson, Lena Pearson, Sharon Chapman, Bernard Ballenger, Jr., Barbara Ballenger, Jamie Pearson, Hayward Pearson, Jeanie Ballenger, Lanora Ballenger, Patricia Pearson, Shannon Pearson, Gloria Wright and Annie Goldsmith and family pet Lilly. He was preceded in death by his siblings Bernard Ballenger, Sr., Horace Ballenger Sr., Nathaniel Ballenger, Sr., Stella Ballenger, Lula Mae Ballenger and Vert Ballenger. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018 11:30 AM at Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors.
