Helen L. Garrett, daughter of the late L. T and Bridie C. Thompson passed Saturday, August 6, 2022, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of New Trinity Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she loved going to the beach, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her legacy will continue in those she left behind including her daughters, Charlene (Land) Farr and Tina Garrett both of Wellford, SC and Shenette (Myron) Anderson of Duncan, SC; her siblings, L. T. Thompson, Jr. of Moore, SC and Alberta Garrett of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jaela Farr of Spartanburg, SC and Kamauri (Desmond) Geter of Duncan, SC and great granddaughter, Nevaeh Farr of Boiling Springs, SC; and her dog child Cookie; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jack Farr.

Funeral will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 2:00 PM at New Trinity Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00PM inside Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
