Mrs. Hazel Y. Duckson, wife of Irvin Duckson, daughter of the late Haywood and Katherine T. Young, passed Saturday, November 5, 2022, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a loyal member of Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Hazel along with her husband Irving; include a daughter, Bevelyn (Aaron) Purham of Duncan, SC; stepson, Tori Duckson; siblings, Ada Lee Bailey, Geraline Young and Leon Young all of Greer, SC; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bernard Austin and siblings, J. L Young and Juanita Jones.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 11, 2022, 2:00 PM at Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Viewing will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
