Mr. Gustavo Felix "Chunnie" Mercado, Jr., husband of Guadalupe Ramon, son of Gustavo F. Mercardo, Sr., and Norma DeLaGarza, passed November 14, 2020.

He was a loving father; he always loved to spend time with his kids.  There was never a dull moment with him, no matter how much he made people mad, you could never stay mad long.  You would always give in to his jokes.  He was the goofiest fun spirited person you would know.  He was always the one to make you laugh with all the silly thing he came up with.  Before his health issue he enjoyed dancing.  We, selfishly wish he was still here, but know he's not in pain anymore.  He will truly be missed and nothing will ever be the same with out him.  He was a L. V. Raiders football fan.

May his memory be a blessing to all those surviving including his wife Guadalupe, his parents Gustavo and Norma are his children, Vanessa Damaso, Lidia Mercado and Anthony Mercado; his siblings, Juan Gomez, Josephine Hernandez, Danny Ramirez, Tommy Boehm and Veda DeLaGarza and a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Family service will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2020 12:00 noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Following the service he will be available for viewing in our viewing window until 7:00PM.
